Our program seeks to promote a positive image of gaming by promoting creativity, critical thinking and networking, all while coupling it with an educational learning network.
We work with organizations, schools and other partners across the country to facilitate after school programs, e-gaming leagues and competitive amateur tournaments for students of all ages.
Competitive gaming, or eSports, is the fastest growing sport globally. More than 62 percent of U.S. households play eSports games for at least one hour per week.
Those numbers are expected to grow, and UGAA is here to support that growth.
Our program caters to a wide variety of players and highlights non-violent games.
THE UNIVERSAL GAMERS AMATEUR ASSOCIATION CATERS TO STUDENT LEARNING
The UGA program provides STEM educational, leadership and life skills courses with an eSports gaming component.
Students participate in 21- week eSports seasons while also taking a selected STEM course.
School systems across the country see value in providing students after-school programming relevant to their everyday life.
